Wimbledon Crisis Centre, Day 1

Good morning all. This year's first balls will be struck at Wimbledon just after noon local time (7 a.m. EST) on Court Two and all of the outside courts, while matches on Centre Court and Court One commence an hour later. Here's today's Order of Play. You'll have a post like this one each day to coincide with the start of play, and no doubt we'll be posting multiple Overflow Crisis Centers to keep the conversation rolling. The links for these will be posted at the top of each day's original Crisis Center, so if you find the comments closed here, discussions will be continuing on the Overflows. The weather in SW19 today is forecast to be dry but cloudy, with some sun, so the new Centre Court roof isn't expected to get a workout today. Many British eyes will be turned upon last year's Junior Wimbledon champion Laura Robson, who opens proceedings on the new Court Two (the Graveyard of Champions having been consigned to history) against Daniela Hantuchova. Roger Federer, Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic headline today's Centre Court matches; I'm sure many TWibe members will be watching how last year's men's finalist fares against Yen-Hsun Lu, a player he's never faced before. Meanwhile Serena Williams' 26-year-old opponent, Neuza Silva, from Portugal, is making her Grand Slam debut after coming through qualifying.
