Wimbledon Crisis Centre, Day 3

Good morning all. Today is expected to be another sunny day at Wimbledon as the second round gets under way. The Order of Play can be found here. As expected most British players other than Andy Murray have already exited from the singles. However, Elena Baltacha managed to win in three sets yesterday against Ukraine's Alona Bondarenko. Baltacha is also originally from the Ukraine, but came to the United Kingdom as a child - and, like Andy Murray, grew up in Scotland.

Maria Sharapova and Roger Federer are headlining on Centre Court (against Gisela Dulko and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez respectively), followed by a first-time matchup involving Sam Querrey versus Marin Cilic. On Court 1 Novak Djokovic opens the day against Simon Greul. Afterwards Serena Williams faces Jarmila Groth, with the third match to involve Tommy Haas and Michael Llodra (Haas leads that head-to-head 3-0).

Please carry on your tennis-related conversations here. We'd appreciate it if, as usual, you could save any off-topic discussions until after all the day's matches are done. We'll be providing Overflow Crisis Centers as needed - the first of these will be linked from the foot of the current post.
